Where We Gather

TSW locations change from time to time. Sleeping and eating spaces are included. We use an additional room for art, prayer, journal, and reflection.

Teen Service Week 2024 will utilize space at the Kendall County Forest Preserve as our homesite from June 9 - 13.

Service Teams

Teen Service Week offers participants the opportunity to serve in the way that reflects each person's personality, skill, and comfort level. When you arrive for the week, you will be placed on a service team.

Typically, first-year TSW participants will join a Level 1 service team, while repeat TSW participants can apply for Level 2 service.

[Level 1] First year participants join a Level 1 team that engages in direct service.

Level 1 teams explore the call to take a stand for justice. You will learn about the need around us and how you can make a difference in your community.

[Level 2] Returning participants engage in a more abstract, broader type of service.

On a Level 2 team, you explore the reasons for service and motivations for justice work. You learn about the nature of service and the energy it takes to make change possible. You gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of your role in the world around you.
