What do we do at TSW?

Service, games, prayer, meet new people, help those in need, make friends, scrub floors, cook food, play with children, learn about justice issues, give care and attention to abandoned pets, pass out food from a bread truck, visit the elderly, work in a community garden and lots of other tasks that broaden the heart.

Who goes to TSW?

Any teenager that has completed one year of high school (through graduating seniors) and is interested in making a difference in the community.

Is this an overnight event?

Yes! Check back for news about TSW 2024 in Spring 2024.

Is there a cost to TSW?

Yes, the cost is $200 per person. Yet TSW will never turn a teenager away due to financial difficulty.

What about food?

We have home-site volunteers who prepare breakfast and dinner each day. We eat simple meals together as a community.

Our teams pack lunches each day to take to our worksites and include sandwiches, fresh fruit, snacks, and juice. Often, we share meals with the staff and participants of the organizations where we volunteer.

We will be happy to accommodate the dietary needs of any participant.

When are applications due?

The sooner the better but can be accepted as late as May 7, 2024.

When is the next TSW?

TSW 2024 is being planned, and is set for June 9 - 13, 2024. Want to be part of it? Contact us anytime.

Does TSW accept donations?
